How to play Lawyer Tycoon

Follow the decisions in the order the game introduces them, from finishing one case to running an automated law firm.

1. Choose your career type

A guest career starts without registration and is stored only in the browser you use. It cannot move to another device or a later account. A free account starts a separate cloud career and enables cloud saves, the world leaderboard, a public profile and office features.

2. Run your first case

Select the open work area on the Businesses screen. Its segmented bar follows the actual case duration, and the net collection reaches your cash balance when the fill completes. Open the card's information area to compare gross and net income, duration, office requirement, manager and next milestone.

3. Improve one practice, then widen the portfolio

Buying more levels in an open practice raises its collection. At the same time, watch the unlock price of the next legal practice. A useful portfolio balances quick early cases with slower, more expensive work instead of placing every coin into the highest visible price.

4. Hire a manager when the numbers work

A manager automatically runs the matching legal practice. The hiring fee is paid once, but salary becomes a continuous expense, and some managers require a stronger office. If automation does not yet cover its wage, improving the case level or infrastructure first can be the safer move.

5. Plan offices in an account career

Offices change income bonuses, tax, expense per second and team access. The eight workplaces progress from a virtual setup to much larger firms. Evaluate a new office through both the specialists it unlocks and the recurring cost it adds, not only its purchase price.

6. Use upgrades to remove bottlenecks

Career upgrades affect case flow, automation, cost control and office efficiency. You do not have to buy all forty in a fixed order. Choose the improvement that solves the problem limiting your current plan, then save toward the next practice or office.

7. Treat reputation as a long-term decision

Reputation is calculated from real lifetime net profit and provides permanent bonuses. The career restart screen shows the points you will gain and what will be kept. Restart when the permanent return clearly compensates for the short-term progress you give up.

A practical opening sequence

  1. Complete the first available case several times.
  2. Compare its net income and duration in the information panel.
  3. Improve that practice and unlock a second income stream.
  4. In an account career, calculate office and manager costs together.
  5. Buy upgrades that address the current bottleneck.
  6. Read every reset detail before using reputation.
